Our heavy-lift drone package is built for feature films, television, and high-end commercial productions that require uncompromising image quality and full integration with cinema camera systems. Using the Freefly Alta X, we provide drone cinematography in Los Angeles that allows productions to fly the same cameras and lenses used on the ground, ensuring complete visual continuity across every shot.

The Alta X is operated by a dedicated three to four-person drone crew, depending on the complexity of the production and shot requirements. This team structure allows for precise coordination between pilot, camera operator, and support crew, delivering safe, controlled, and repeatable aerial shots on set.

Our heavy-lift system supports industry-standard cameras, including ARRI Alexa, RED, Sony, and other professional cinema packages, with full FIZ (focus, iris, zoom) control for maximum creative flexibility. Paired with stabilizers such as the MōVI Pro or Ronin 2, the system can be mounted in multiple configurations—either beneath or on top of the drone—unlocking unique camera angles and dynamic movements that smaller drones cannot achieve.
